Our Story
Turfli was founded in Scottsdale by Curtis Frank and Karl Baum, who spent years watching homeowners settle for substandard outdoor spaces — not because they didn't want more, but because most contractors either lacked the design vision, the installation quality, or the follow-through to deliver it.
The idea was simple: treat every backyard project with the same care you'd give a luxury interior remodel. That means starting with design, using premium materials, managing the full scope, and backing the work with a real warranty.

Licensing, Warranty & HOA
Yes. Turfli (Luxury Lawns and Greens LLC) holds an active Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license and carries full general liability insurance and worker's compensation. We provide documentation on request prior to any project start.
Our 15-year installation warranty covers defects in workmanship including base failure, seam separation, drainage issues, and structural settling on all synthetic turf and hardscape projects. Product manufacturer warranties are provided in addition. Full warranty terms are included in every project contract.
Yes. We are Smartscape certified and experienced with HOA approval processes across Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, DC Ranch, Gainey Ranch, McCormick Ranch, and other master-planned communities. We assist with material submittals, documentation, and the full HOA review process.
Yes. For projects requiring permits — including outdoor kitchens, certain structures, and electrical work — we handle the permit application process and coordinate with the city directly. This is included in our project scope and proposal.
